Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and provide physical assistance for all children, including children with special needs. Responsibilities CDL Requirements:

CDL license required; passenger or school bus endorsement 1 + years' experience driving a school bus No at-fault accidents in the last 5 years Insurable driving record CDL Responsibilities Execute timely arrival at assigned schools Safely transport children and staff Obey the rules of the road Report any mechanical issues and/or the need for gas or service Performs monthly preventative and safety maintenance tasks, documenting necessary repairs and/or services, and performs ongoing maintenance as directed. Communicates appropriately and effectively in both nonverbal and verbal styles with all children, co-workers, and guests. Is able to legibly, accurately and thoroughly complete all documentation.
