Job Overview Monday-Saturday Class B Position Split shift from 3AM-7AM and come back in afternoon from 2:30PM-7:30PM delivering mail for the United States Postal Service We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver with a Class B license to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of vehicles, including paratransit vans, motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vehicles, and limousines, delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety and compliance. As a CDL Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting passengers or goods efficiently and professionally, contributing to our commitment to reliable transportation solutions. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will help maintain vehicle safety and provide a positive experience for all clients. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as paratransit vans, motor coaches, school buses, shuttle buses, and limousine services in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical integrity, and cleanliness. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs; report any mechanical issues promptly. Follow scheduled routes efficiently while adhering to time schedules; communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisors regarding route changes or delays. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams to keep vehicles in optimal condition. Uphold safety standards at all times by practicing defensive driving techniques and ensuring passenger safety protocols are followed. Skills Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger or freight transport. Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance needs. Experience driving various types of commercial vehicles including bus driving, shuttle driving, delivery trucks, or limousine services. Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers, dispatchers, and team members. Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs professionally. Knowledge of paratransit operations and motor coach regulations is highly desirable. Pay:
$26.30 - $31.66 per hour
