Highland Community School District Job Posting - Transportation Positions (2026-2027 School Year) Highland Community School District offers a four day school week. The district is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused individuals to join our transportation team for the 2026-2027 school year . We are currently accepting applications for the following positions: Anticipated Regular Route Bus Driver Substitute Bus Drivers Activity Bus Drivers These positions play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students to and from school and school-related activities.

Responsibilities include:

Safely transporting students in accordance with all state and district regulations Maintaining order and discipline on the bus Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Qualifications:

Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (or willingness to obtain) Strong commitment to student safety Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass required background checks Highland CSD offers a supportive work environment and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' daily lives.
