Do you find yourself talking to pups in a high-pitched voice? If your dream day involves a vehicle filled with wagging tails and happy pants, we have the ultimate gig for you. Adventure K-9 is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious Dog Bus Driver to join our pack!
What You'll Be Doing:
As our Dog Bus Driver, you are the face of Adventure K-9 for both our human clients and their furry best friends. Your primary mission is to ensure our training dogs have a safe, comfortable, and fun commute.
The Chauffeur:
Safely transport our training dogs to and from our facility, following designated routes and schedules.
The Handler:
Assist with loading and unloading dogs from the bus, ensuring they are properly secured and comfortable.
The Team Player:
Work closely with our training staff to ensure seamless hand-offs and share any updates on how a pup did during the ride.
The Ambassador:
Greet pet parents with a smile and a friendly attitude during morning pick-ups and afternoon drop-offs.
What We're Looking For:
You don't need to be a certified dog whisperer, but you do need to love them and respect them. Reliability is a
Must:
Our clients (and their dogs) rely on us to be on time. If you're notoriously late, this isn't the pack for you.
Safety First:
A clean driving record is mandatory. You'll be carting around precious cargo!
Dog-Savvy:
Comfortable handling dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels.
People Skills:
While the dogs are your main passengers, you'll be interacting with their owners and our internal team. A warm, friendly, and collaborative attitude is essential.
Physical Stamina:
Able to lift up to 60 lbs and comfortably manage enthusiastic dogs on a leash.
