Bus Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate buses for schools and clients. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness Communicate clearly with passengers using effective English or bilingual skills to provide route information and address questions or concerns Manage behavior and maintain order among passengers, especially when working with children or vulnerable populations Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges or special needs Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or safety concerns during routes Collaborate with dispatchers and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving (e.g., passenger endorsement) If you do not have this we offer paid training. Proven experience in bus driving, including school bus driving and charters. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special care demonstrates your compassionate approach Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for all passengers Knowledge of behavior management techniques to handle challenging situations effectively Embark on a rewarding career that combines safe driving with meaningful community engagement.
