Full Job Description Overview of Position:
Responsible for driver training and skill assessment to include on-boarding training and orientation, remedial training, and maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulation.Essential Job Responsibilities:
Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Responsible for helping manage internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, manage on-going education programs. Monitor and assist in enforcement of DOT and FMCSA regulations to ensure compliance. Responsible for conducting all tasks associate with:- Driver Training
- DOT regulations
- Provide assistance with Safety Related Admin functions and provide backup when needed
- Other duties as required Education and/or
Experience:
Two (2) plus years of experience in transportation; CDL "B" with P/S endorsement. Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Computer skills including MS Office Avatar experience a plusJob Type:
