Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-functioning vehicle.
Safely operate shuttle buses on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulationsTransport passengers to and from specified locations according to established schedulesPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMonitor vehicle condition and report any mechanical issuesAssist passengers with boarding and departing the shuttle, including those with special needsMaintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle maintenanceEnsure cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exteriorFollow emergency procedures when necessaryProvide professional and courteous service to all passengersNavigate various weather conditions while maintaining safety standardsQualificationsValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsementCurrent DOT medical certificationMinimum 2 years of commercial driving experienceClean driving record with no major violationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkStrong knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulationsExcellent customer service and communication skillsPhysical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage when neededProficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and safety checksKnowledge of Kenner area and surrounding routesFlexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekendsProven record of punctuality and reliabilityBasic math skills for maintaining trip logs and recordsAdditional InformationBoyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
