Job Description

Bus Drivers ($27,394+) Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Bus Drivers.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate a Dorchester County School Bus;
  • Maintain regular paperwork associated with transporting students;
  • Perform Pre and Post trip inspections of buses;
  • Monitor student while bus is in transit;
  • Maintain cleanliness of bus;
  • Assist with transportation of bus to garage for service as needed;
  • Attend necessary training classes;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate; 2. Must be currently certified as a Maryland School Bus Driver; 3. Meet all Motor Vehicle Administration and State Department of Education requirements for school vehicle drivers; 4. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
