Bus Driver

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. This is a part-time position starting the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and other school-related activities.

Responsibilities:

Operate a school bus safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and regulations Ensure the safety of all passengers on the bus Maintain a clean and organized bus Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus Communicate with school officials and parents as needed Follow a set schedule and route Assist students with disabilities as needed Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records Attend training sessions and meetings as required

Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements Must pass a background check and drug test Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic Must have a good driving record and be able to maintain it Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons Must attend required training sessions and meetings as necessary.
