PERMIT TRAINING

classes where we are with you every step of the way through the process to obtain your school bus, passenger, & general knowledge endorsements to be eligible to begin CDL training. By the end of week one, you will feel like you are part of the family at MTN! We offer 2 weeks of CDL training (paid at $20 per hour ) to prepare you to take your road test. We work with you one-on-one, so you are comfortable with your pre-trip, skills, and behind-the-wheel ability. Our drivers are not enticed to go to other companies because they are valued here, we treat them fair , we are extremely flexible and work with you to accommodate your needs , and you feel part of our growing family . COMPANY OVERVIEW

Metropolitan Transportation Network (MTN) is a privately-owned company founded in Minnesota in 2004, specializing in pupil transportation services for public, private, and charter schools. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and on-time transportation while maintaining high standards for our employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate a school bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route changes or emergencies. Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely. Provide excellent customer service to students and parents. Attend monthly safety meetings and training sessions as required. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior issues Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, or willingness to obtain. Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents. Experience working with children preferred. Ability to manage student behavior effectively during transport. Commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
