Job Description

  • Only qualified Machine Operator candidates located near the Columbus, Nebraska area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
  • Required Education
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferredRequired Experience
  • Experience in production manufacturing environments preferred
  • Experience performing visual inspections
  • Experience operating production equipment
  • Experience with packaging, assembly, labeling, and inspection activities
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments preferredTech Skills
  • SAP data entry and transaction processing
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) transaction processing
  • Basic equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform line changeovers and line clearance
  • Ability to use microscopes, calipers, and other measuring gauges
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) documentation requirements

  • Perform routine production functions including filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspection
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks
  • Complete equipment troubleshooting as needed
  • Perform line changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning activities
  • Support continuous equipment operation during scheduled breaks
  • Complete product rework activities when required
  • Cross train within the department to support business needs
  • Maintain quality standards and GMP compliance
  • Complete SAP and MES transactions accurately
  • Assist with root cause investigations through the BDA process
  • Maintain compliance with required training documentation
  • Support department goals by reducing downtime and improving efficiency
  • Maximize productive time utilization within the department
  • Participate on assigned improvement and blitz teams
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and clean room areas
  • Move raw materials and finished goods as required
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations
