Coach USA is seeking dedicated and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers. As part of the Stagecoach Group, Coach USA provides a dynamic work environment with routes spanning commuter services, airport shuttles, sightseeing tours, and charter services. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, timely, and comfortable travel experience for our passengers while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence. Operate various types of buses and motor coaches on scheduled routes, charters, and tours. Check the bus tires, lights, and oil and conduct general motor vehicle checks prior to departure. Adhere to scheduled routes, stops, and traffic laws to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. Communicate clearly with passengers regarding schedules, stops, and safety procedures. Collect fares, issue receipts, and assist passengers with special needs, including the handling of luggage. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle both interior and exterior to uphold the company's professional image. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the dispatcher as needed. Participate in ongoing training and safety programs to meet company standards. Excellent driving skills and familiarity with traffic laws. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers and other road users. Basic mechanical knowledge to manage minor vehicle maintenance. Good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements. A clean driving record. DOT Medical Card.
