Pay Starting Rate:

$21.31/hour (A new contract is in negotiation so this will be going up!) What You'll Do Safely operate buses on city and suburban routes Assist passengers, including wheelchair securement Provide courteous and professional customer service Observe and report unsafe or unusual conditions Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures What We're Looking For At least 18 years old Valid New York State Driver's License to apply, CDL Class B License or Learner Permit to be hired Safe driving Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to communicate professionally with passengers and staff Neat and professional appearance Physical & Work Environment This position involves extended periods of sitting while operating a bus, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and assisting passengers. Operators work primarily indoors but may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, vehicle vibration, noise, and fumes.
