Anticipated Work Location/Hours:

Jack Burns Transportation Center Approx:

6:45-9:30 AM (TBD)

• and 2:00-4:30 PM (TBD)
• Specific number of positions, dates, and run times are subject to change based on need.

Salary:

$25.18/hr per SRP contract

Duties:

Drivers shall transport students in accordance with schedules in a safe and friendly manner. Drivers are held responsible for reasonable behavior of pupils in transit. Drivers will perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have CDL-B License with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements. Must be able to comply with Commissioner of Education Requirement 156.3 and the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicle Article 19A and the Omnibus Testing Act. Drivers shall be familiar with the Vehicle and Traffic Law, Regulations of the Comm. of Motor Vehicles, NYS Dept of Trans. Regulations, Regulations of the Comm. of Education and regulations, rules and policies of the District pertaining to pupil transportation. Ability to work with disabled students in a positive manner. Position will be assigned per Section 3.9.2 of the SRP Agreement. Must be available all dates.
