• Government Charter Services, LLC (GCS) is a Department of Defense authorized passenger Transportation Company.

Our primary mission is the safe and efficient transportation of young men and women who are entering military service. Our customers are the regional Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a great little part time job working with great people.

JOB DUTIES

• 4 positions are available.

Part One:

Utilizing one of our 3

• 44-passenger buses, you would be required to drive military applicants from a contracted hotel in Norman, OK to the MEPS building Monday through Friday 0445am
• 7:45am making one trip daily. Some days we need 3 buses; other days we need just one bus. Generally, one driver would be the main driver one week (15 hours) and the other two drivers would be the 2nd and 3rd driver if needed
• then the next week you would switch roles. Pay rate
• BUS $31.

46/hr. Some days, we may only need a bus and a 14-passneger van. Therefore, two drivers needed, one at the bus rate and one at the van rate of $22.52. This does not take three hours but we pay the full 3-hour time block for each driver that works that day.

Part Two:

Utilizing our vehicles you would be driving military applicants from the MEPS to the contract hotel each evening. Monday through Thursday 4pm-8pm. Depending on the passenger count each evening, you may need to drive the bus or van at the pay rate listed above. We are contracted for three scheduled trips each evening

• back and forth.

Additional hours:

We are responsible for what they call emergency runs which would include picking up military applicants from the airport due to flight cancellations and return them to the contract hotel and moving applicants from the current contracted hotel to a different hotel due to being sold out. These additional hours are short notice runs.

• Each driver SHALL be available to cover for each other for sickness, vacations, etc.
• There are plenty of hours to go around and we'd like to be able to hire a team that works closely together splitting days/shifts, and covering for each other as needed

WAGES :

Using the Federal Wage Determination

• the starting rates for each position are listed above.

The job is part-time. Paid training. No other benefits are offered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants MUST possess a valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement and NO air brake restriction (usually located on the back of your license).

Drivers MUST have a current DOT physical or be able to obtain the physical. Applicants MUST provide a current clean MVR (motor vehicle report). MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug tests, and a background check. Applicants MUST have a minimum of three (3) years' professional passenger carrying experience.
