Embark on an exciting journey with Child Advocates of Blair County as a Bus Aide/Bus Driver in Training, where you'll kickstart your career earning $14.50/hr. while you learn the ropes! As you transition to a full-time bus driver, your pay will rise to $18.75/hr., and you'll enjoy fantastic incentives like incentives on your first paycheck after meeting pre-employment requirements and a licensure bonus after 60 days as a full-time driver. Our comprehensive CDL training program, which is paid for by our agency, includes classroom instruction covering vehicle safety and passenger endorsements, followed by hands-on road training to ensure you're fully equipped for success. You'll complete the necessary steps to obtain your CDL, including a DOT drug test and practical skills testing.
