Job Description
The Haverford Township Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport campers to and from field trips and support our after-care program by providing transportation to the Community Recreation & Environmental Center (CREC). This part-time, seasonal position averages 10-15 hours per week, depending on field trip schedules and travel distances. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a township bus, including conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with all transportation safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle interior. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CDL license with the following endorsements: Air Brakes, Passenger, and School Bus.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Has a valid Class B or Class C CDL with the following endorsements: o Passenger (P)Endorsement:
Required to transport passengers o School Bus (S)Endorsement:
Required to operate a school bus o Air Brake Endorsement Successful completion of pre-employment screenings including: o PA child abuse clearance o PA criminal background check o FBI fingerprint clearance o Drug/alcohol screening Prior experience driving a school bus Ability to meet physical/sensory demands of jobClear Driving Record:
Has maintained a clean driving record with no serious traffic violations Good interpersonal and communication skills High ethical standards and personal integrity Time management skillsEssential Functions:
Driving our Extended Care Program (ECP) campers and staff to and from various field trips Safely operate a school bus along designated routes Ensure students board and exit the bus safely Maintain order and enforce safety regulations on the bus Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Follow traffic laws and school district policies Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.Physical Demands:
