CDL Bus driver

Standing Stone Consulting Inc. provides event staff and security personnel to some of the largest event venues in the Commonwealth. As one of the fastest growing companies in the commonwealth, and greater opportunities are accepted for drivers in our Transportation Dept. SSCI uses both vans and buses as a primary means of deployment. We are looking for a skilled Bus Driver with a CDL and passenger endorsement who will be responsible for operating buses and transporting passengers safely to their destinations. Our bus is used for transporting our employees to event venues with Central Pennsylvania primarily but not exclusively. In this position, you will be expected to maintain a clean and mechanically sound vehicle, follow traffic rules and regulations, and provide excellent customer service to passengers. Meals per diem of $40 /day (yes, you can pack and make more money) Uniforms provided Bus Driver duties and responsibilities Operate a bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers to various destinations Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving Inspect the bus before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior Keep the bus fueled with company gas card Communicating with events leads as needed to coordinate routes and schedules Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical problems to the appropriate authorities Attend training sessions and meetings as required Bus Driver requirements and qualifications Possess a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B or higher , with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing as required Minimum of 2 years of commercial or school bus driving experience preferred Strong punctuality, reliability, and professional communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if needed Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent Good physical health and ability to lift heavy objects Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations Good problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
