Responsibilities As a Professional Motorcoach Operator, your responsibilities will include: Safely operating motorcoaches, shuttle buses, and other passenger vehicles for charters, events, university transportation, athletic travel, shuttle operations, and other assigned trips. Conducting complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe, clean, compliant, and ready for service. Providing outstanding customer service to passengers, clients, coordinators, and company representatives. Assisting passengers with boarding, luggage, questions, and general travel needs in a courteous and professional manner. Maintaining safe driving practices at all times and complying with all federal, state, DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations. Communicating professionally with dispatch, operations staff, clients, and passengers regarding trip details, timing, routing, delays, or operational updates. Maintaining accurate trip records, including mileage, hours, fuel, passenger counts, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation. Representing Alta Bus with professionalism, pride, and a positive attitude at all times. Reporting maintenance issues, safety concerns, route delays, passenger concerns, or incidents immediately and accurately. Keeping vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for passengers. Following company policies regarding uniforms, appearance, customer interaction, safety procedures, and professional conduct.
