Bus Driver (Non CDL) - Shuttle Bus Parking Lots - Per Diem

Position Summary:

Operates non‐CDL hospital vehicles to transport patients and visitors between Guthrie Health parking areas and off‐campus local sites. Assists passengers with entering and existing vehicle and shuttle bus as needed.

Education, License & Cert:

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

Previous customer service is required. Must be able to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. Must be 18 years of age.

Essential Functions:

1. Operates hospital vehicles to transport passengers and occasionally materials from parking areas to any campus building/location. 2. Assists patients, staff, and visitors in entering and exiting vehicle as needed. 3. Assists patients and visitors in getting assistance as needed for vehicle problems. 4. Performs daily vehicle inspection; maintains safe operating conditions. 5. Complies with all state, local, and system traffic regulations.

Other Duties:

1. Is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors entering the Guthrie Health. 2. Oversees parking areas to ensure patient parking is being utilized by customers only. 3. Responds to emergencies in surrounding work area and dispatches assistance as needed. 4. Attends mandatory monthly department meetings. 5.
