We're looking for professional drivers to join our team for the busy season! Responsibilities Safely operate transit buses, including school bus, paratransit, motor coach, shuttle, and limousine vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical safety and readiness for service Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, fare collection, and answering questions in a friendly manner Maintain communication with dispatchers and other team members using radio or communication devices to coordinate routes and respond to incidents Follow scheduled routes efficiently while managing time effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures Handle routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability Support passengers with special needs or mobility devices, demonstrating patience and professionalism at all times Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of bus systems and basic vehicle maintenance procedures Proven experience in commercial driving, including bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles Familiarity with paratransit services and motor coach operations preferred Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members effectively Ability to handle diverse passenger needs with patience and professionalism Knowledge of safety protocols related to school bus driving, limousine services, or other specialized transportation modes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant endorsements such as driver or commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred with Passenger Endorsement.
