Preschool Bus Driver ( 2 YRS EXP)

Job Description The Daycare Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of children to and from school, and our childcare center. This role plays an important part in maintaining trust with families, ensuring each ride is safe, comfortable, and positive.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport children to and from the daycare center and designated schools. Maintain accurate attendance and transportation logs. Ensure all children are safely secured in age-appropriate restraints or seating. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards. Maintain professional communication with parents, staff, and school personnel. Follow all state and center safety policies and transportation regulations. Assist children in and out of the vehicle safely as needed. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old (per TN licensing standards). Valid Tennessee driver's license with a clean driving record. Current CDL or Passenger Endorsement preferred (but not always required depending on vehicle type). Ability to pass a background check , motor vehicle record (MVR) review , and drug screening . Must complete CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire). Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and love for working with children. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Previous experience in childcare, school transportation, or a similar role preferred.

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
