Merryhill School is seeking an Part time Bus Driver. This flexible position supports school operations by ensuring safe and reliable transportation for students and staff. - Transport students, staff, and parents to and from school and school events.
- Perform safety checks on vehicles before and after trips.
- Maintain discipline and safety during transport.
- Complete student attendance logs and follow transportation procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and report incidents as required.
What We're Looking For Education & Credentials:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements (as required by state).
- Clean driving record.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
Skills & Qualities:
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Reliable, organized, and safety-focused.
- Ability to work independently and calmly manage unexpected situations.
- Comfortable working with students of all ages. Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and speaking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operation of vehicles and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to read and communicate clearly in English.
