Job Description

Here's The Role Be a part of the LCRA Summer Camp program as a bus driver! You'll transport youth and adult guests of McKinney Roughs Nature Park for various river and outdoor recreation programs. Live out our core values of safety, integrity, respect, initiative and service by doing your part behind the wheel. Are the person we need for our camp? Then, apply today! How You'll Contribute Safely transport campers and staff to and from camp activities, field trips and scheduled events. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is clean, fueled and operating safely. Maintain and repairs park equipment and tools, performs daily inspections of vehicles and maintains records. Follow all traffic laws, camp transportation policies and safety procedures at all times. Perform exceptional customer service and promote a positive and respectful environment during transportation. How You're Qualified 5 years of bus driving experience Must be at least 21 years old A valid Class B CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements; obtained through DPS office Must have an acceptable driving record according to TPS safety standards Complete a state-approved 20-hour School Bus Safety Certification course How We'll Support You Meaningful, hands-on experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and competitive pay, plus access to perks like a 401(k) and EAP.
