Longview Transit Position Overview:

Longview Transit is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to fill immediate openings for full-time and part-time City Bus Driver positions. Previous experience in transit is preferred but not required. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to providing excellent service to the public and have a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities:

Operate a city bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards Provide excellent customer service to passengers Maintain a positive, professional attitude while interacting with the public Assist passengers with disabilities, ensuring safe boarding and disembarking Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Follow scheduled routes and timeframes, ensuring timely service

Position Requirements:

Valid driver's license for at least 5 years Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to pass DOT physical, drug tests, and background checks Must have a CDL with (P) Passenger Endorsement Strong communication skills in English (both speaking and reading) to interact with passengers effectively Must have a compassionate attitude and the desire to work with the public

Work Schedule:
