Job Overview We are seeking energetic and responsible seasonal, part-time Bus Drivers to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face behind the wheel, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our campers and staff. Your enthusiasm for driving and customer service will help create memorable outdoor experiences while maintaining safety standards on every trip. Duties Safely operate various types of buses, including motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vehicles, and paratransit vans. Transport groups to outdoor programs, campsites, and special events with punctuality and professionalism. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are mechanically sound and meet safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and answering questions. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle conditions; report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules or operational updates. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus or motor coach operation. Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving; familiarity with paratransit or limousine services is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members. Ability to handle various vehicle types including school buses, motor coaches, or shuttle vans with care and precision. Prior experience in customer service roles that involve driving or transportation is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to bus driving and vehicle maintenance practices.
