PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES SUQUAMISH CLEARWATER CASINO RESORT
Transportation- Bus Driver II/Customer Service Dispatcher (Must Have CDL)General Position Summary:
Drive casino vehicles to various locations, including; Seattle or Kitsap County area, collecting casino patrons while exercising Clear Superior Customer Service at all times. Assigns drivers and vehicles to transport guests and employees by dispatching according to requests and within the company's policies and procedures, while insuring Clearly Superior Customer Service is demonstrated.Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Drive regular assigned shift Drive for special request and group pick-ups Other bus/van activities as directed Clean and maintains van/bus, during shift, for guest safety Coordinates with Security to ensure guest pick-up are handled professionally and safely Communicates with customers to determine driver needs and notifies drivers via telephone or radio of assignments Ability to multi-task as required to route, schedule and dispatch multiple units and maintain a calm, composed and professional demeanor at all times Demonstrated strong knowledge of Kitsap, King, and Pierce County Enters assignment data into the computer database to facilitate transportation reports Works closely with Transportation Coordinator and Marketing Director in preparation for special events, functions, and tours both internally and externally requiring transportation Works with Marketing personnel to expand and promote van/bus routesSecondary Functions:
Completes all tracking reports during regularly scheduled shift. May assist with driving when necessary Monitors operation of route and daily scheduled stops using driver and customer feedback Briefs drivers on road and traffic conditions as necessary Provides feedback to Transportation Coordinator regarding drivers' alertness and appearance Other duties as assignedSpecific Job Skills:
Excellent driving record Ability to drive any casino vehicle as required Ability to actively practice and promote Clearly Superior Customer Service Ability to communicate casino events and other information to a variety of people Ability to provide written reports in a timely manner Good problem solving skills Ability to think independently and make good decisions in an emergency situation Education and/orExperience:
Must be 21 years of age. Minimum of 2 yrs. of commercial driving experience and dispatching experience preferred. Must possess valid Washington State Driver's License. Must have CDL- Class C with passenger endorsement . Prefer driver have valid First Aid Card with CPR or be willing to attend and pass class. Good customer service skills. Knowledge of Seattle and Kitsap County area.Job Conditions:
Working conditions include driving bus/van, with and without passengers, working in an office setting with a computer, telephone, fax and other office equipment. Driving the van/bus at night, in the city, on the ferry and during poor weather conditions. Other conditions include waiting for passenger's, sitting for extended periods of time, lifting and assisting guests in and out of bus/van and spending time in the casino during busy nights. Access to Food and Beverage area, Marketing offices, employee break area, other access requires escort. Other working conditions may include working alone, or in a busy office with frequent interruptions. May have access to other management offices as needed to perform duties, as assigned by supervisor.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Meet the physical standards necessary to perform duties. Possess sufficient strength and agility to assist physically impaired passengers on and off the bus in a safe manner.
