Part-time (as needed)Job DescriptionThe Mini Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students and school staff in a 14-passenger mini bus to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other school-related activities. This role requires a strong commitment to student safety, professionalism, and compliance with all applicable state and federal transportation regulations in Oregon and Washington.

Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a 14-passenger mini bus in accordance with traffic laws and school policiesTransport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special eventsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety concernsMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe vehicle environmentEnsure student safety during loading, unloading, and transitFollow established routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for weather or traffic conditionsMaintain accurate trip logs and required documentationCommunicate professionally with school staff, parents, and studentsComply with all Oregon and Washington state transportation, safety, and school regulationsQualificationsReliable, punctual, and flexible with schedulingValid drivers license appropriate for operating a 14-passenger vehicle (CDL a plus!)Clean driving recordAbility to pass required background checks, fingerprinting, and drug/alcohol screeningExperience driving larger passenger vehicles preferredStrong attention to safety and detailAbility to interact positively and professionally with children and staffPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while drivingAbility to assist students as needed during boarding and unloadingAbility to perform vehicle safety checksScheduleHours may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends, depending on school needs and events recblid 44y7gafs0rwbe7ppjx58jyxd60cjxp Not Specified
