5757 Sonoma Drive, Suite A Pleasanton, CA 94566 Compensation Starting at $18.00 per hour Mileage reimbursement provided Schedule Part-Time /Pier diem Approximately 3-4 hour shifts daily Monday through Friday Day shift Position Summary Lemedix is seeking a reliable and professional Laboratory Courier to transport medical specimens and laboratory materials between healthcare facilities and our laboratory. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities Pick up medical specimens and laboratory materials from assigned healthcare facilities. Follow all transportation and handling procedures to ensure specimen integrity. Verify that all specimens are properly labeled and accompanied by the correct documentation. Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company procedures. Plan efficient routes while considering traffic and travel time. Complete all pickups and deliveries in a timely and professional manner. Obtain signatures and verify delivery receipt information when required. Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding delivery status. Follow all safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Valid California Driver's License. Reliable personal vehicle. Current vehicle insurance. Clean driving record. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
