POSITION
Legal Office Assistant / Messenger Allen & Kimbell, LLP, a preeminent Santa Barbara law firm, is looking for an Office Assistant / Messenger . The Office Assistant upholds the company's mission statement by providing timely, proactive support for both attorneys and paralegals. We are seeking an intelligent, hard-working, and reliable college graduate who is interested in learning about the inner workings of a private law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring attorney or paralegal.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Open and close the office daily, ensuring readiness for staff and clients Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming clients and managing incoming calls Prepare meeting and conference rooms Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Maintain inventory and organization of office and kitchen supplies Ensure common areas, including the kitchen, are clean and well-maintained Support office operations, including events and general staff needs Perform local errands, including court filings and offsite file retrieval Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
