Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable individual to join our team. As a Helper, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent communication skills, , and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The start time for the day shift is 10:10am. This is a 10 hour long shift that ends at 8:40pm.Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate in delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and prompt deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of route driving principles and practices
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission if required
- Familiarity with courier, tractor-trailer, or refrigerated trailer operations is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of products as needed
