Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Salt Delivery Driver to join our team. Aqua Pro Water Systems is a water filtration company that sells, installs, and maintains equipment such as water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, chemical filtration systems, well water filtration systems, and more. Many of these systems require salt tanks to operate properly. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting 50 lb. salt bags to various locations and loading salt into these tanks. You will need to ensure timely and careful delivery for our customers. You will play a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent and friendly service, as well as efficient route management. You will also play a key role in monitoring these systems to make sure everything is functioning properly. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport salt to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients during deliveries. Handle heavy lifting of packages or materials as required by the job (salt bags are 50 lbs each) Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly. Monitor equipment on a broad level to ensure that it is working properly, and notify the office when in need of service/maintenance. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including logs and receipts. Must have reliable transportation to and from work, and have regular and reliable availability during working hours Monday-Friday. Skills Experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred. Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local roadways. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Attention to detail in following delivery instructions, monitoring for issues with systems, and maintaining accurate records.
