Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods across designated routes. Load, unload, and organize packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adapting to traffic or route changes as needed. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records. Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages or equipment to ensure timely completion of deliveries. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on route driving. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and handling heavy items. Proficiency in operating a box truck, forklift, pallet jack, and manual transmission vehicles. Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly while maintaining safety protocols. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles.
