Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 255-day work agreement (year-round)
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Receives mail, packages, and shipments; logs each item and prepares them for delivery. Delivers interdepartmental mail, U.S. Mail, packages, paper, and other received items in a neat, timely, and organized manner. Picks up hazardous materials, light bulbs, and other miscellaneous items from buildings. Picks up and delivers parts and supplies from local vendors for district use. Coordinates and assists with moving staff and curriculum materials between sites. Orders inventory as needed. Performs custodial duties as required. Plows snow when necessary. Operates a forklift. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The successful candidate will exhibit: Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures. Frequent lifting, bending, carrying, and moving heavy objects such as books, furniture, and boxes of curriculum materials. Ability to read, interpret, understand, and implement communications, both written and verbal. Proficient computer skills using email, spreadsheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and the Internet are preferred. Willingness to work with others and to work as a team member. Well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks and have effective problem-solving skills. Willingness and availability to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation:
$17.30 per hour
