Job Summary The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community. Essential Functions Maintain clear and timely communication with full-time staff regarding facility needs, guest feedback, and observations, escalating concerns when necessary. Support special events or programs as needed through coordination with staff. Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, restrooms, and high-traffic spaces. Monitor supplies and report low inventory to full-time staff. Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or facility damage to full-time staff. Assist with basic upkeep tasks as appropriate and directed. Help ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival serving as a welcoming and helpful presence throughout the facility. Answer questions, provide general information, and direct members or guests to the appropriate staff or resources. Model excellent customer service and represent Trail Point positively at all times. Required Qualifications Friendly, approachable, and customer service-oriented. Ability to perform light physical tasks (cleaning, lifting, standing, walking).Dependable, attentive, and able to work proactively and independently. Willingness to learn facility operations and contribute to a positive team environment. Observant and able to identify and report safety or maintenance concerns. Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and procedures. Positive attitude with a respectful, professional demeanor. Desired Qualifications Work Schedule Flexible, 15 hours per week.
