As a Courier Driver, you will navigate various routes using different types of trucks, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us keep operations running smoothly and customers satisfied. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including trucks with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits. Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure prompt service across multiple locations. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs for route driving, load manifests, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or unforeseen delays. Uphold safety standards by following all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations during every trip. Qualifications Proven experience in truck driving or delivery roles with familiarity in route driving and freight handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight transportation and vehicle operation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently and adapt to changing schedules.
