This role offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while providing exceptional service to customers across various locations. As a contractor, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing deliveries efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction on every route. Responsibilities Safely operate a cargo van on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload packages using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Deliver goods promptly and accurately to customer locations, ensuring proper handling of items such as boxes and pallets Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery sequences for timely completion Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service at all times Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and reliability of your cargo van Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on route driving and customer service Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and heavy lifting techniques Ability to operate box trucks or cargo vans with manual transmission if required Experience with forklift operation or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; knowledge of commercial driving regulations is preferred Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Physical ability to lift heavy packages, perform moving tasks, and handle manual tasks confidently Join us as an independent contractor and take charge of your own schedule while delivering essential goods with energy, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding service!
