Courier

Courier Courier needed to work on our government contract throughout Western and Northern Baltimore County. The Courier will travel to government locations to drop off office communications, packages and materials. Six month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:

Receives, signs for, and delivers office communications, U.S. mail, packages, checks, and other confidential materials to County agencies.

Signs delivery tickets and receipts for supplies.

Maintains cleanliness of assigned and pooled vehicles.

Enter data into the system.

Keeps logs and prepares mileage and other related reports.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a mail room or courier related position is required.

Must have a valid Driver's License, good driving record and own vehicle.

Must have good communication and basic computer skills.

Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
