Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cargo Van Delivery Driver, where you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. This energetic role involves safely and efficiently delivering goods using a cargo van, ensuring timely arrivals and exceptional service. You will be responsible for navigating routes confidently, handling packages with care, and providing outstanding customer service throughout your deliveries. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact while enjoying the freedom of on-the-road work. You will be paid $300 per day which includes up to 50 deliveries. Past 50 you will receive $2.00 additional for every subsequent delivery. $300 is your floor. Routes run Monday to Saturday. Duties Safely operate a cargo van to deliver packages and goods to various locations according to scheduled routes Load and unload items Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation for each shipment Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route adjustments or delivery issues Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the cargo van remains in optimal condition Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or cargo vans Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading packages Familiarity with warehouse operations, including use of forklifts or pallet jacks (nice-to-have) Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and stay organized during daily routes This role offers an energetic environment where your driving skills make a real difference.
