Job Description

The Courier coordinates the pick-up and delivery of medical specimens, reports, and supplies from area medical facilities. Working under close supervision, this role communicates effectively with departments to deliver products in a timely fashion. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM.Essential Job Function Reviews and abide by the established schedule or dispatched route in order to meet all delivery needs efficiently. Documents the condition and maintenance of the hospital vehicle and coordinates with the appropriate parties to fix problems that arise. Handles the operations of the hospital vehicle in compliance with Department of Transportation and motor vehicle regulations in order to ensure safe driving. Assists with any issues that arise related to incorrect addresses to deliver materials to the correct parties. Responds to internal inquiries regarding delivery times and schedules to meet needs and resolve any concerns. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent

LicensureCertificationListing Required:
Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
