WORK SCHEDULE

Overnight early morning hours, starting at 1am/2am. Number of Shift hours vary by route. Holidays and Weekends a MUST. Job Summary This is an entry level non-exempt position that primarily requires driving. Under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or the Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs the manual labor aspects of distribution center operations along with assigned driving tasks. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Responsible for delivering assigned routes, maintaining established service levels, and/or show routes to new Delivery Workers (DWs). May perform other driving tasks such as delivery verifications and delivery of replacement copies. Assists in bagging of papers for open routes when needed. Participates in all the daily operations at a Distribution Center. Completes tasks related to product receiving and dispatch inclusive of time, quality and quantity verification. Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety procedures, rules, and regulations Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area, which may include restroom facilities, interior and exterior of building, as well as retrieval of storage carts. Availability to assist in other PCF locations if required Other Functions Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Competencies Action Oriented Listening Functional / Technical Skills Customer Focus Perseverance Integrity and Trust Patience Time Management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Technical and Functional Must have and maintain access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license in state of residence, driving record in adherence with PCF guidelines, and automobile insurance at limits required by PCF. Ability to use the internet and learn PCF applications. Ability to meet and/or exceed the established customer service objectives. Ability to communicate information professionally and effectively, so that it is understood to customers and peers. Required Physical Abilities Ability to routinely lift heavy items. Ability to perform route delivery, going in and out of vehicle, throwing and walking. Ability to perform visuals in the field and associated other work in the territory. Ability to move around the facility, both inside and outside. Working Environment Ability to meet deadlines and attendance standards. Ability to work weekends and early morning hours. Ability to work in warehouse type environment. Ability to function at night in adverse conditions. Ability to work within safety guidelines. Experience, Education and Certifications Required Experience Required No previous experience required. Third shift work experience is a plus.
