Under general supervision of the Chief Purchasing Officer or other designees, work at the Los Alamos County Warehouse. The Los Alamos Public Schools' purchases that arrive at the Warehouse will be received and noted through the schools' financial system. Afterward, deliveries to all School sites will be handled by this position. This position will also assist the County's Warehouse staff, as time permits.ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers Los Alamos Public Schools, and County's, receiving process, both physically and in software systems; processes and reconciles receipts with purchase orders; performs calculations to determine the accuracy of supplier documents and quantities; makes modifications as Administer Los Alamos Public Schools, and County's, inventory process; processes inventory picks, issues, returns, and adjustments, both physically and in the financial software Receives, unloads, inspects, identifies, stages, labels, asset tags, and stores all inbound material, supplies, and Identifies, collects, packages, stages, loads, secures and transports all outbound material, supplies and Reviews, ensures the accuracy and completion of, and maintains all procurement records related to purchase, receiving and issue of both inventory and non-inventory goods. May contact suppliers and resolve order, transportation, or receiving Reviews and verifies documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and Handles and moves goods, supplies and equipment by hand or by use of forklift or other material handling Maintains Safety Data Sheet (SDS) using appropriate procedure Keeps work area clean and in Inspects delivery vehicles and forklifts, completes inspection forms, and inspects all other material handling equipment Operates safely and properly all material handling equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, electric and gas forklifts, and delivery Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required Performs other duties asSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver's Must possess or have ability to obtain within first six months of employment and must maintain a Hazards Communication Course Certificate, to includeRCRA, EPCRA
ad OSHA Must possess or have ability to obtain within first six months of employment and must maintain a National Safety Council Forklift Operators Certification or Must successfully complete pre-employment physical exam and background check prior to hireEDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED Two years' supply management or related business experienceLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret daily financial reports and required legal documents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from Los Alamos Public Schools employees as well as state and federal agenciesMATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to apply mathematical operations to such extent as to adequately complete job dutiesREASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid OTHER SKILLS andABILITIES
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the school community. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all District requirements and Board of EducationPHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit, walk and stand; have manual and finger dexterity; stoop, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, heights and ladders. The employee is occasionally required to crawl, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance, push/pull, and carry. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds with the assistance of another person or appropriate equipment.
