We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality journalism and local engagement. Summary We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at The Daily Gazette. This position is essential for ensuring that our publications reach our readers promptly and efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service in the Capital Region. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport newspapers and other materials to designated locations. Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload delivery items, ensuring proper handling and care of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any issues encountered. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or delivery preferred. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools. Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
