BG News Circulation/Delivery - School of Media and Communication

Delivery of the BG News paper to various drop off points and buildings on campus, as well as, to local businesses in a timely and efficient manner.

Career Readiness Competencies :

Communication Critical Thinking Professionalism Picking up bundles of BG News papers from designated areas. Delivering bundles of papers to various drop off points on and off campus. Bundling papers in plastic for inclement weather. Delivering papers inside some buildings and businesses. Delivering phone books as needed in the Fall. Must be able to lift heavy bundles and weight up to 50 lbs. Must have reliable vehicle and insurance. Must be available for early morning delivery on publish days. Must be dependable and find a sub driver when needed. The regular delivery day for The BG News is Wednesday. There are a few special issues that are published during each semester. There are around 40 total days that deliveries are made. Each delivery day route takes an average of two hours to complete.
