Appliance Delivery (Helper)

Job Overview Join our delivery team as an Appliance Delivery Helper, you will assist with the safe and efficient delivery of appliances to customers' homes. Ensure a positive experience for our clients while supporting the driver. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics, customer service, and heavy lifting, all within a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and reliability. Responsibilities Assist delivery driver in loading and unloading appliances from trucks using equipment such as hand dolllies, and shoulder straps. Help ensure that appliances are safely transported to customers' homes, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support with heavy lifting and moving of appliances, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury. Participate in route driving alongside the driver, gaining familiarity with delivery routes and customer locations. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive during deliveries. Help maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of items loaded, unloaded, and delivered. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized truck. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with loading and unloading heavy items is preferred. Experience with commercial driving or as a courier is a plus, especially if familiar with box trucks or manual transmission vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members. Knowledge of driving regulations related to load & unload operations, route driving, and safety protocols.
