Duties Safely operate a cargo van/box truck to deliver packages and goods to various locations according to scheduled routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of items. Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation of all shipments. Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe driving environment at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure the truck is in optimal condition. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents or delays encountered during shifts. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading cargo and using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform manual labor safely; physical stamina is essential. Familiarity with route driving, GPS navigation tools, and traffic regulations.
