This role offers the flexibility of operating as an independent contractor while providing essential delivery services across various locations. As a courier driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout your routes. Your dedication and professionalism will help us deliver exceptional experiences to our clients and keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver packages along designated routes. Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Manage route driving with precision, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups. Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for daily operations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of all shipments handled. Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, moving goods, and organizing shipments as needed. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools. Strong customer service skills to handle client interactions professionally and courteously. Experience working in warehouses or with heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission confidently and safely. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards for heavy vehicles. Physical ability to lift heavy packages, perform manual loading/unloading tasks, and move items efficiently. Prior experience with delivery driver roles involving load & unload procedures, route driving, and moving goods.
