Courier Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires driving a box truck and may involve heavy lifting, moving, and operating warehouse equipment. The Courier Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Duties Drive a Car, Cargo van, SUV to deliver packages and goods to various locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while maintaining schedules. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including inventory management. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transport. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential. Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is required. Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
