Full-time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable Courier/Janitor/Handyman to maintain a clean, safe, and functional facility environment, and pickup deliveries from clients. This role combines routine janitorial duties with light maintenance and sample pickup in the Greater Seattle area. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation Clean and disinfect lab spaces, offices, restrooms, and breakrooms Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors Empty trash, recycling, and lab waste containers Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies Follow proper procedures for hazardous or lab-related cleaning (training provided) Facilities & Maintenance Perform light repairs (fixtures, shelving, minor plumbing) Assist with basic electrical tasks (e.g., replacing bulbs, checking outlets) Maintain equipment and tools used for cleaning and upkeep Report safety issues or facility concerns promptly Support minor facility projects (painting, pressure washing, organization) Courier- Pickup environmental samples from clients around the Greater Seattle area
- Deliver sampling supplies to clients around the Greater Seattle area
- Interact with clients in a calm and professional manner General Support Maintain orderly storage areas and supply inventory Assist with setup/cleanup for lab or operational needs Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Qualifications 6+ months janitorial, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment Basic handyman skills (tools, minor electrical/mechanical fixes) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record required (F&B will provide vehicle) Strong attention to detail and reliability Preferred (Lab Environment Bonus) Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or lab settings Familiarity with safety procedures (OSHA, PPE, chemical handling)
