Job Description

Participant eligibility will be assessed and determined by Nutrition Program staff. Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate. This is a non-benefit eligible role
Hours:
Monday-Friday, ~11AM-1PM, Serving Kaukauna Service Area. Please note this position will start until beginning of May. To be successful in this role: Access to reliable transportation to assist with meal transportation and delivery as part of job duties. Ability to interact with individuals in a respectful, empathetic, and patient manner while maintaining professional communication. Key Responsibilities The following duties are most critical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Transport packaged Home Delivered meals from a designated beginning location, to meal participant residences, to designated end location. Take monthly or as needed home delivered meal temperatures to ensure food is within range. Comply with state guidelines. Meal delivery may not exceed ten (10) minutes per meal participant unless further authorized. Compile and submit Nutrition Program actual and timely record keeping. Report delivery conflicts and issues to the Mealsite Manager and/or HHS-Aging & Nutrition Supervisor. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Attend trainings and/or meetings as required. Completed required online trainings. Distribute educational and informational materials as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Certifications/Experience Requirements Graduation from high school or GED with experience working with older persons and/or persons with disabilities preferred; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Required or Preferred Skills Sensitivity to the needs of older persons and persons with disabilities. Ability to relate and communicate effectively with others. Ability to work independently and make sound judgments. Ability to perform duties in a dependable manner. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Ability to follow instructions and be flexible to change. Ability to maintain Outagamie County DHHS and Nutrition Program confidentiality. Ability to perform accurate and timely record keeping tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 20 lbs. Up to 10 times per shift, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics. Transport meals with own vehicle.
